What is the Wheel of the Year card game?

The Wheel of the Year card game is an expandable game about different deities and mythologies. Each game represents a group gathering together to tell the tales of their goddesses and gods. The end goal of this, being the strengthening of ones own faith while dwindling that of others.Each game takes place over the course of 4 rounds, representing the 4 seasons of the year. Followers will take turns playing cards from their hand in an attempt to have the most faith remaining at the end of the game.

What makes the Wheel of the Year card game different?

Unlike other card games, Wheel of the Year eschews the traditional norms, doing away with a large, bulky deck. Each player, known as a follower, only needs 5-8 cards to play. These cards make up that follower's pantheon. Each follower has access to those cards right at the start of the game, so no need to worry about not drawing your key cards for your strategy.The wheel of the Year card game also does not use a resource system. Where as other games require players to pay an in-game currency to play their cards, in Wheel of the Year, cards have no in-game cost, so they can be played at anytime.

What is needed to play the Wheel of the Year?

Each player will need 5-8 cards to make up their pantheon. These cards may all be from the same culture or can be a mix of any number of different cultures.
Players will also need two faith dice for tracking their faith total.
